Splashdown Waterparks are all set to welcome a scorching summer!

Our teams across both sites have been working very hard over the last few months preparing both waterparks for the summer, lets hope it’s a hot one!

Everyone down at Quaywest have been super busy preparing the site after being closed all winter, being completely open to the elements means it’s a big job getting the site up and running ready for its May opening each year. Everything you think would need to be done has been done, from servicing the rides to more menial jobs such as changing lightbulbs. We certainly started this season with a bang, we were delighted so many locals came and enjoyed the opening night fireworks with us. The bar was flowing, there was brilliant music from 3BF and a dazzling fireworks display by Fire Magic. Quaywest’s opening month has been met with brilliant local events such as the Torbay Air show and Brixfest and we’ve been blessed with some fantastic weather – we couldn’t have asked for more. The team at Poole have been equally busy! All the outside rides, after a full service, are now open fully for the summer plus the outside areas have been given a fresh lick of paint. Outside isn’t the only area that’s received some attention however, a small team have been working very hard over the last few weeks to design and install brand new signage across the park. Adding to our front entrance, ride signs & directional signs – giving the park a fresh new look and hopefully making our customers' experiences all the more easier!

Summer 2016 is set to be the best summer yet for flume fans, so keep your eye out on what were up too – did you know we now have an Instagram account? Although were extremely excited for summer, we have some exciting things in the pipeline, so we are eagerly awaiting other periods throughtout the year.
